marché!

last friday was vivian bday and we went to marché! marché is a swiss buffet restaurant where u will be given a guest card upon entering and all u need to do is when u order food, you can just charge it to the card and pay the balance when u exit, isn't that cool?

lol me, ws, kevin and zb decide to spilt the cost together and share the food we ordered, so we order one rosti with smoked salmon, 2 grilled chicken, 2 mushroom soup, 2 pasta and some drinks. it was heavenly! especially the smoked salmon and the pasta, total damage? $22 each! quite reasonable =)

as for today, i had my marketing paper. that is the worst module i had as i do not even understand wat is going on until now, but luckily the paper today was do-able. after the paper went to town with ed and jasper then meet cg at cine. went window shopping around cine then jasper and cg go hereen buy fossil watch (2 rich guys). btw thanks jasper for the ride to and back!

i'm so looking forward to friday as its my last paper on that day AND also jasper birthday celebration! and we would be drinking at Phuture..hope i don't puke man haha

i gonna change my blog layout soon, stay tune for more updates haha!

wats with the weather nowadays? its getting so warm the whole day, even when i sleep topless with a fan on i'm still sweating! hope its not global warming..

btw duno wad happen to me 2 days ago. slept at 1am, turn and toss until 2 plus cannot sleep out of no reason. was dam pissed. went online and chat with everyone that i can find until 3 plus go watch silent hill. first time in my life i couldn't for no reason.

aww..wanted to learn hiphop so badly but too bad Oschool slots fully booked le, had to wait for july classes. trying to find more potential dance mates in the future haha

how would u feel if u had totally lost contact with a friend that u nv fail to keep in contact with and won't even open the door when we go find him..its too sudden..no one knows wat happen. are friends so easy to lose?

Tml will be the last day at work during school days..finally..dun wanna be a zombie at school anymore. it sucks. tutorial undone, sleeping lectures..

and yea~ next week whole week dun need go sch, cuz elearning haha, just like sleeping late without waking up with the sound of alarms

15 Sep shall be my potential date for TP hahaha thanks wx for the instructor

one lazy week.

monday: for that moment, i was dam stressed while preparing for jap speaking test, this is the last and final test for that module and it was like 30%?!
Siti was my partner, (we had to converse in jap given on the scenario on our rolecard) although i didnt know her well, she's quite friendly, we practise for a while and off we start our test. once we got our rolecard, we got 1 min to read and our sensei put a recorder the middle...as we start the test, we were so stressed up and towards the end of the conversation, it seems like the rolecard is jumbled up and we forgot our lines lol. But I guess we should have pass the test, this is the first time i felt so relieve

tuesday: its BIT day for Year 1, and there were buffet set up, one of our lecturer saw us and gesture us to eat the food, the food was nice and i guess we finish a lot of fish nuggets haha, noodles was a bit too spicy though, after the meal, me and wx head to ourspace and do some stuffs there. saw ben there, my sec sch classmate, still the same pattern haha, guess he's doing well too.
NP Strings was ...bit of boring, we were practising the same song over and over again and yet we couldn't get it right..and the worst part is tuning the guitar..with a lousy tuner, i guess i took about 10 mins or more to tune the guitar...i guess playing together with a group isn't easy as it seems.

wednesday & thursday: work...sucks.

Tiramisu!

After me and wx determined to make a tiramisu for our mom, we went to carrefour in Suntec City to search for our ingredients. We search high and low for the ingredients, first we found the liquor, seems like its too expensive for us so we tried to look for smaller bottles but no avail. So we went to search for the next item...cheese

Btw jasper was on the way to meet us, so we went to search in the cheese section. I think we spend about 5 mins there and still couldn't find that particular cheese that we needed. Next we went to find the next cheese section, the one that got an indian guy tending the stall, looks like he doesn't have that cheese too. We starting to get restless already, just then, jasper came and scared us from behind..lol

I think jasper is our lucky star, once he came, we found sponge fingers, cocoa powder. As for the cheese, we went back to the 1st cheese section and 3 of us look together. As we walk towards the end of the section, a elderly couple approach us and ask which butter is suitable for baking. As we suggest SCS butter to them, wx suddenly spotted the cheese we wanted! it was just right on top of the butter! lol i guess kindness begets kindness.

So we purchase our stuffs and went to meet ed. guess wat, ed car broke down lol..and his car just came back from servicing 2 days ago. so we accompany ed and his mum while waiting for the towing truck to come....

btw didnt know that shopping for goceries can be so fun and have such a peaceful feeling haha.

Yesterday, me and wx meet at town again to get our last and most important ingredient..liquor
we found that isetan sell small version of that particular liquor so we went to the wine section of the supermarket in isetan. we search around the place but we can't find it. in the end, its right infront of the counter.. lol and we were so lucky that it is the last one on display!

After we had our lunch, i went to wx place and slack and prepare the ingredients. this is the first time we bake a tiramisu haha, we were so afraid that it won't turn out nice lol

So we were done with the baking and put it into the fridge, while waiting, i request to watch Secret ( 不能说的秘密 ) by Jay chou. The show is dam nice! and very very touching. One of the actress look like one of my friend and i thought she was acting in it!

haha enough talk time for the pics, btw we were very happy with our tiramisu that we bake and the taste is heavenly!

hectic week

oh man this week was kinda hectic..was like a walking zombie in the past few days...



Tuesday had NP strings, learn how to differentiate notes and how to play and read notes from the music sheet. Wasn't as easy as i thought haha. Tuesday is also jay lloyd birthday, he's a new friend i met from cg and friends, quite a funny and friendly guy. I left NP strings at 9pm, and sorry wx that i have to pang seh u to celeb his birthday lol..



So i took a bus down to meet ed and meet the rest at chomp chomp. after they had eaten, we went to a famous cafe nearby. its called Ice Cube Cafe, kinda famous for their mudpies. luckily we had a reservation if not we wouldn't have a seat. me and jasper order their best mudpie, alcohol anonymolics, the taste is heavenly! its a rum and raisins mudpie with some almond on top, if you got the chance should try it , btw i shared with jasper lol
others ordered their icecream and cg ordered a banana spilt! looks like ed and mel wasn't really pleased with their waffles lol half way thru, sz when to bring the cake out and jaylloyd was quite surprise to see the cake as the cake has his photo on it! really amazed by the technology nowadays O.O

haha friday have to wear semi formal for bcomm, hope it will be fun!
