Tiramisu!

After me and wx determined to make a tiramisu for our mom, we went to carrefour in Suntec City to search for our ingredients. We search high and low for the ingredients, first we found the liquor, seems like its too expensive for us so we tried to look for smaller bottles but no avail. So we went to search for the next item...cheese

Btw jasper was on the way to meet us, so we went to search in the cheese section. I think we spend about 5 mins there and still couldn't find that particular cheese that we needed. Next we went to find the next cheese section, the one that got an indian guy tending the stall, looks like he doesn't have that cheese too. We starting to get restless already, just then, jasper came and scared us from behind..lol

I think jasper is our lucky star, once he came, we found sponge fingers, cocoa powder. As for the cheese, we went back to the 1st cheese section and 3 of us look together. As we walk towards the end of the section, a elderly couple approach us and ask which butter is suitable for baking. As we suggest SCS butter to them, wx suddenly spotted the cheese we wanted! it was just right on top of the butter! lol i guess kindness begets kindness.

So we purchase our stuffs and went to meet ed. guess wat, ed car broke down lol..and his car just came back from servicing 2 days ago. so we accompany ed and his mum while waiting for the towing truck to come....

btw didnt know that shopping for goceries can be so fun and have such a peaceful feeling haha.

Yesterday, me and wx meet at town again to get our last and most important ingredient..liquor
we found that isetan sell small version of that particular liquor so we went to the wine section of the supermarket in isetan. we search around the place but we can't find it. in the end, its right infront of the counter.. lol and we were so lucky that it is the last one on display!

After we had our lunch, i went to wx place and slack and prepare the ingredients. this is the first time we bake a tiramisu haha, we were so afraid that it won't turn out nice lol

So we were done with the baking and put it into the fridge, while waiting, i request to watch Secret ( 不能说的秘密 ) by Jay chou. The show is dam nice! and very very touching. One of the actress look like one of my friend and i thought she was acting in it!

haha enough talk time for the pics, btw we were very happy with our tiramisu that we bake and the taste is heavenly!

hectic week

oh man this week was kinda hectic..was like a walking zombie in the past few days...



Tuesday had NP strings, learn how to differentiate notes and how to play and read notes from the music sheet. Wasn't as easy as i thought haha. Tuesday is also jay lloyd birthday, he's a new friend i met from cg and friends, quite a funny and friendly guy. I left NP strings at 9pm, and sorry wx that i have to pang seh u to celeb his birthday lol..



So i took a bus down to meet ed and meet the rest at chomp chomp. after they had eaten, we went to a famous cafe nearby. its called Ice Cube Cafe, kinda famous for their mudpies. luckily we had a reservation if not we wouldn't have a seat. me and jasper order their best mudpie, alcohol anonymolics, the taste is heavenly! its a rum and raisins mudpie with some almond on top, if you got the chance should try it , btw i shared with jasper lol
others ordered their icecream and cg ordered a banana spilt! looks like ed and mel wasn't really pleased with their waffles lol half way thru, sz when to bring the cake out and jaylloyd was quite surprise to see the cake as the cake has his photo on it! really amazed by the technology nowadays O.O

haha friday have to wear semi formal for bcomm, hope it will be fun!

Flame of Glory

sat was also cy bday, meet siong and guys at 3plus and off we go to some present shopping. we celeb cy bday at NYNY. ( New York New York ) The food there is niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I shared a juicy beef tenders with adz. At first we tot it was some juicy beef steak with sauce on it, but when it came, didnt turn out like wad we expected haha. It was diced beef and mash potato with some unique sauce and the taste was...PERFECT! somehow, the beef doesn't taste like beef haha, taste a bit like pork. Somehow, NYNY seems to be a place for ppl to celebrate birthdays, saw around 5 - 6 birthday parties around and we sing along with it lol

after we had our dinner, we went to eski bar at boat quay..oh man before we reach there we walked around for like 2 hours?! gerald had call his girl-friends along to drink. as we were waiting, i saw a familiar face.

Singapore is such a small world , saw sh once at citylink mall and she turn out to be one of gerald friends haha. Eski Bar is one of the coldest bar i ever went, it was like -3.4 degrees! and we even had to wear thick eskimo sweaters to keep ourselves warm, i was shivering all the while.

We ordered the deadliest drink for cy, the name of the drink is Flame of Glory - 85% alcohol..OMG. after cy finish the drink, he fell from the chair and sat on the floor. He told us his head was spinning after he finish the drink. We played with him and he kept laughing lol, and he kept losing at drinking games.

i wasn't a good drinker so i didnt drink much on that night, luckily i didn't puke haha.

Every drunkard has a story to tell.

Pissed

This morning around 1am+ one of my colleagues called me. He claims that his friend's sister is in hospital and in need of $200 bucks and ask me to transfer to him. At this moment i was thinking, of so many ppl why doesn't he ask his family, his close friends, or relatives for help? And i also doesn't know him well enough to lend him to much money. He even say he will return me by tomorrow. I thought about it, since he is able to return me the money by tomorrow, he should have the money now. So i bluff him i didn't bring my atm card and i off my phone after that.

Once I reach home, i switch on my phone again, saw his sms again saying i ****ing gay dun wanna help dun need off phone. So i reply him again saying i dun know him well enough should ask his family or friends instead, he reply me but they are all asleep. **** him if really urgent he wouldnt care if his family or friends are asleep. lucky i not so naive to lend him the money.

Just my luck to meet this kind of people.

Harold and Kumar

Tues had e-learning so didnt have to go to sch so i went to catch a movie with my fellow classmates..we watched the show Harold and Kumar..the show is so hilarious that we laugh throughout the whole movie. I'm sure i gonna catch it again

The show actually about 2 asian guys (korean and indian) going around doing stupid things and making a fool out of themselves. and Kumar actually looks like Saleh! I wonder are they long lost brothers lol.

After the movie i went back to sch for NP strings, and meet up with wx and siong then went tgt to the clubhouse. They taught us some basics of guitar and some theory. As we were playing around, we manage to chat with a pro alumini member. He can actually sing and play the guitar at the same time! the 3 of us awe in wonderment as he play some of the famous jay chou songs.

I'm all flare up for guitar!

Long time no see~

Been a long time since i blog, gonna to give it a go again =)

I had car practical lesson this morning, unfortunately i was late for a bit due to me still nua-ing in bed after my phone alarm rang. duno is i not enough sleep or wad, my reaction super slow thru out the lesson...lucky instructor was patience cuz i keep forget to apply the stuffs he taught lol.

Then I had my jap class at 1, the quiz was kinda easy but was stress when the compo test came..and i did not memorise the letter writing format hahaha. and one best thing about my jap teacher, she always release us super early like 4 plus instead of 5pm. after that went for my boring work..i swear not to work during schooling again dam tiring after a day of mental work.

yay! today(tues) no sch cuz e-learning shiok! can sleep late le. looking forward to tml class outing and...NP STRINGS! my 1st "legally" joined cca haha. today shall be the third time i holding a guitar. *btw np strings is a guitar and strings instrument club.
